Lovely addition to my evening and morning rituals
Iâve seen different versions of this alarm for some time and thought it was time to buy one since I am not a great sleeper. Itâs a wonderful addition to my evening/morning routine! If you are thinking about buying it, I say do it. You wonât regret it.The alarm is a cute white orb shape with the bottom control part in a gray charcoal pattern. The LED light panel is nice with two silver control knobs to manually control the light, the speaker, and other settings. The QR code on the back of the alarm is to download a PDF of the manual, not to download the app to control the alarm/light. I read through the manual and found the QR code to the Smart Life App.I was able to quickly download the app, use Wifi & Bluetooth to set up the alarm. Iâve been using it for over a week and I am enjoying waking up to it! You can easily set up several alarms for particular times in the app. You have the option to add the light, including when to start it. I tried different times and I have settled on having the light start 10 mins before the alarm. There is a nice variety of sounds to be added to the alarm (Rain, Bonfire, White Noise, Gentle Fan, Music Box, etc.). My favorites are Forest, Ocean, and Wind Chimes. The Vacuum and Hairdryer sounds are interesting, my cats, however, did not enjoy either them.In addition to setting up several alarm times you can also use different scenes as you fall asleep. Iâve tried out several sounds with the dimming light. You can set it for a particular amount of time or have it run until you shut it off via the app. Again very easy to use. I personally have been using the âFall Asleepâ Scene which includes the Bonfire Sound and Dimming Light with a timer for 30 mins. Itâs a nice way to read in bed and relax for a great nightâs sleep.

Best Alarm Clock
The Momilla sunrise alarm clock has so much to offer. It includes features like multiple brightness settings, various alarm sounds, nature/soothing sounds, and AM/FM radio. With the 2 knobs on the front of the alarm clock you can use one to adjust the light so that youâre able to use it as a night light or a relaxing evening lamp in your room. The other knob is used to adjust the volume of the alarm clock speaker. Iâve used the alarm clock to listen to music in the morning while getting ready for work by using the Bluetooth function and playing music from my phone. The volume on the alarm is pretty loud so I am able to move around my house and still jam. The settings can be controlled from an app that you can download to your phone, so youâre able to use it from anywhere. In the app you can set up several alarms for particular times and days.Overall, I love this alarm clock from it size, color and multiple fun functions it includes definitely not your typical alarm clock.

Broke after first use, might as well buy the cheaper alarms ( EDIT: great customer service)
Bought this in replace of a Hatch. It was cool because it worked with my SmartLife app which I use for lights. Sadly this alarm, the first time began to play music, glitched out and just died. It does not turn on anymore and the app is frozen (seen in video). Also it does wake you up about an hour before you want to.(EDIT: I have updated my review due to good customer service. They were attentive about my return so it was no longer a hassle. However, my review still stands about the faulty alarm I did receive).

**EDIT: Love the clock, but the app is TERRIBLE
** The seller reached out to me immediately and helped me troubleshoot my issues. While we couldn’t find a way to fix the issues I was having, they offered to send me two new clocks to replace the ones I have an issue with. I am very happy with the seller, and will purchase from them again in the future.Got two of these for me and my long-distance partner because we wanted to fall asleep on the phone more often, but then that would mean our phone alarms wouldn’t go off in the morning. This was going to be a fun alternative to a phone alarm. I spent a lot of time doing research, looking specifically for a clock whose alarm fades in slowly. This one does a pretty good job at that. The light function will be cooler in the winter when I wake up in the dark for work. The clock is tedious to program and figure out, but once you get the hang of it it’s not so bad. Definitely have a backup alarm set on your phone for the first hundred times until you’re sure you’ve got it figured out. I’m only partially joking. Seriously. Make sure you have a backup.Unfortunately, if you want to use the app, this clock becomes a nightmare. If you open the app and turn the light function on, you’re going to wait anywhere from 5-45 seconds for the clock to respond. If you think to yourself “huh. It’s been a long time here in the dark, maybe I didn’t actually touch my phone screen in the right place, let me try again” and then touch the button again, nothing happens. If you get frustrated and tap a few times, about 30 seconds later, the light will turn on… and off… on… and off… until it reaches the number of times you tapped. Like a slow motion punishment, or a joke at your expense.Setting the alarm in the app is almost worse. If you set your alarm for 6am, but then realise you wanted to change it to 6:15, make sure you double check it after you hit save. About 75% of the time, the change won’t have saved and your clock will go off at 6am like you never changed it.Oh, and their “help center” is a joke. If you submit a request for help, the question/issue gets magically filed as resolved and disappears within 24 hours with zero input. It’s a real shame. Save your money if you don’t like frustration. Clock is pretty cool otherwise, you just need to set it manually and forget the app.
