Excellent!
Got one of these gifted to me from a friend. So far it’s impressive.Games Selection: 9.5/10, is missing some nostalgic titles, but has pretty much all the classics.Form Factor: 8/10, feels great, small enough to carry around but big enough for someone with bigger hands, though the L2/R2 shoulder button placement can be hard to hit, and the joysticks can feel awkward.Battery: 9/10, it doesn’t hold much of a charge (around 5 hours depending on what you’re playing), but it’s respectable for it’s size. It charges pretty quick, so that makes up for it.I would recommend getting this!

Stopped working under one hour of use
What a let down! Nice looking device, nice controls, decent performance and then one hour in it goes dark and doesnât turn on again, plug to charger and it flashes the battery icon twice and goes dark then starts emitting a weird buzz. Check for support and there is no other option but a return from the automated amazon support thing. Nothing on the internet, no contact to manufacturer. Get this at your own risk.

A solid option for a small retro gamer
There’s a lot of different retro gamers out there right now. If you’re looking for something smaller that has a horizontal for factor, the XU Mini M is a solid option for serious consideration.Good:- Ready to play right out of the box and easy to add games- Decent build quality but plastics do feel a bit cheap- Clear screen- Very ergonomic and comfortable for a small handheld- Good processor- Nice looking operating system- Has analog sticks, not common for a small handheldNot the best:- Limited community support. Not confident that will increase- Operating system is just okay- Even though it has good ergonomics it still might not be enough for those with big hands

Aside from marginal battery life, I like it
For a pocket-sized retro gaming console, I think the XU Mini M hits all the right notes. While the screen is small, it’s not too small for overall playability. It also has a sharp, bright display. I was quite impressed with how these games looked on a smaller screen. The hardware is also great. There’s clearly enough processor power to run your favorite 80s/90s retro console without stutter or lag. The joysticks and buttons are decent, and with both a left and right thumb stick, you can easily configure most any game title properly. My only real question mark is regarding the XU Mini M’s battery life. It isn’t shockingly bad. However, I found the playtime to be just a notch below other similarly sized consoles I’ve tried recently. The claim of 6 hours per charge seems exaggerated. Make sure you have your charging cable nearby if you plan on doing some lengthy retro gaming sessions.Since this is a sub-$100 system, I have to give it five stars. It exceeded my expectations based on the price point. You get tremendous portability, while not giving up much in the way of screen quality or performance. This really is a great machine for the money.
