Great speaker to me. Horrible packing.
I like the overall sound of the Devialet system in this Belkin. Enough so that I bought two in a month. Wireless charging works fine on my Samsung.My only complaint is the crap packing that Amazon does. Both shipment did not have a good amount of packing material. A piece tossed in kind of thing. Like they don’t care about a electronic device. Speaker flew around in first shipment you can hear it slide and bang the sides when picking up. Now the pics is of the second box. Flying around so much and hard it broke the tape. First pic how it look opening the box. Power supply out of package under all that is second pic. Power supply originally is in the bottom of speaker box. Just shows how much abuse from the bad packing. Third pic is the cover that is tape to the top of speaker box. Ripped out cause of insufficient packing. The one bunch of air packs stuck to it. F on packing of the two boxes. Also I just received a drone thrown in a bigger box. Again flying around in a box. No packing material. Seems like the norm.Bluetooth is a charm. Wifi with app is not. Belkin app can’t pick up speaker to wifi.

I have 2 small issue with it.
Black color was cheaper than white, but I paid more for white one because I don’t like black due to dust issue . It provides good sounds in my small kitchen. When I first saw it, it seems little big. But I can accept because it is not portable. The 2 thing I didn’t satisfied with this is charging direction and heat. I love to see some video with my phone, but I can’t watch video with full screen during I charge my phone with this speaker because you can put your phone only one way on this speaker for charging. And I felt some heat on its bottom. It may not be big deal, I’m afraid about that a little bit because my other bluetooth speakers doesn’t have same matter like this.

Power cord unusable. Terrible. Complete junk.
The prongs in the power cord are not long enough to stay in the wall socket and the box that the prongs are attached to is too heavy resulting in a poor connection and no power, or with the plug just repeatedly falling out of the wall despite trying crazy thing like taping the plug to the wall, etc. trying extension cords, different sockets, plug adapters, etc did not work. When the power reaches the unit the Bluetooth connection works well and it sounds great. But the plug makes the whole thing useless and it doesnât work unless connected. The attachment of the power cord to the unit is an odd shape and another appropriate cord I had would not fit into the hole in the housing of the unit for the power cord. The company does not send out replacement cords. The Belkin customer service is terrible – the online chat tells you to call a number for speaker service which doesnât pick up – I sat on hold for >5 hours several days running; they have a function that is supposed to call you back if you confirm your number which I did several times but no call in 3 weeks. I returned and replaced the unit via Amazon and the replacement unit had the exact same problem. The unit is attractive but is a very expensive piece of junk if the cord wonât work. Canât tell you how much of a headache this has been. 100% donât buy.

Only flaw is app is missing EQ
Another great quality product from Belkin. The bass is as good as the marketing hype says it is, a very wide and dynamic lows for a speaker of this size left me impressed. The mids are more than acceptable but the high end is a little weak without high volume. That left me a little underwhelmed with the speaking so I jumped into the soundform app to see if theres an equalizer setting or sound profiles at the least and to my disappoint there wasnt any. I have left a review on the app store and Iâm pretty confident Belkin will add it in the future. Speaking of the app, there were numerous bad reviews about customers not being able to connect but I had no issues at all. The app found the device and after pairing I was able to cast from my iphone and I even went to my computer and opened youtube and clicked cast and the device was there and started streaming to the speaker without any problems.

Great sounds
I like the sound from the Devialet system, really unique and dynamic, I can hear the sounds in difference layers, which is totally out of my expectation.I bought it for $79.99, which is good value for money.Alexa is quit easy to use, however it is less user friendly than Google Assistant.

Good sound but poor performance
I really like the speaker. It gets loud enough and has pretty decent bass. Doesnât have the clarity of higher end speakers but it is sufficient for jamming. What I dislike is the connection. It seems to only be connected whenever I donât want it to be and never when I do. Like it will be disconnected for weeks and then one night I do something on my phone at night and canât hear anything so I turn it up and hear the faintest sound coming from upstairs and realize that the sound is blasting in the room in which my daughter is sleeping. It also randomly and loudly says âsorry, your device is not connectedâ for no apparent reason.

I’ve got this and I have a Bose sound dock… both sound as good……. this has Alexa to boot and recharges my Apple cell phone < > cordless…and charges very fast.
