Mama June Takes Chickadee's Ashes on a Family Christmas Trip to Disney World

Mama June and her family are spending the holidays at Disney World, bringing along the ashes of Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, following her recent passing. The family had previously discussed the plan to visit Disney World before Anna’s death, and they are fulfilling this plan by renting a house in the Orlando, Florida area for the week.

The family will be bringing a small urn containing some of Anna’s ashes to the rental house to feel her presence during the holiday.

In addition to Mama June, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” and her boyfriend Dralin Carswell, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird and her family, and Anna’s daughter, Kaitlyn, will all be part of the trip to Disney World. Anna’s ex-husband, Michael, received an invitation for their daughter, Kylee, but it is uncertain if she will be joining them.

Though the holiday season will undoubtedly be difficult for the family following Anna’s passing, Kaitlyn plans to wear a necklace containing some of her mother’s remains during the trip to Disney World.

Anna had expressed her wish to gift her kids iPads before her passing, and the family has fulfilled this wish by gifting the tablets to her children.

Anna passed away earlier this month from stage 4 adrenal carcinoma, and her ashes were divided among family members following her cremation after the funeral.
